So I have been pretty terrible at writing anything. I’m taking advantage of today’s half day to write.
So this year’s SharePoint conference was not as good as 2007, I did not really hear any good speakers this year. All the best ones from the previous year were absent this year. I wonder why, but whatever I learned a few tidbits and I got to enjoy the week with my GF who was able to tag along. Being in Las Vegas alone is not very fun, so it was nice to have her there.
One other note the layout this year was terrible. It was spread out between 3 floors because there was another big conference in the same location so it made it really difficult for me to attend the ASP sessions if I wanted to.
I think for my conference choice for 2009 I’ll pick TechNet which is in Los Angeles in the spring and try that. Hopefully I’ll learn more from it.

I am usually too busy to blog but decided to rant about this film or mainly about it’s title.
I was reading random articles here and there about Oil how Opec wants to defend the 100 dollar barrel. I of course was thinking dang them greedy money grubbers (of course I would too if I were in their position) but commentators on yahoo the idiots they normally are were throwing out slurs of towelheads and oil blah blah frequently and I of course have to cringe at it.
I guess the word is still kind of new and maybe the world hasn’t devolved enough to be on the level of nig## ,Ni@, or ch#@k but I mean seriously people can’t you people realize it sounds terrible? Do we have to wait a few years till it sinks in before people realize it is offensive? Maybe because I’m part of an ethnic minority and I can see that this term sounds like shit a little quicker than some.
Anyways Hollywood executives and their massive intelligence (maybe the same ones that thought matrex sequels were good)decided to let this movie’s title pass. I understand the plot is about bigotry and all that but a lot of people are not going to watch it and understand that. The title on the other hand will get lots of attention. For some reason I think it will just give the green light to more ignorant people to use that word. Oh well if a movie were ever named I dunno Ching Chong I think the people responsible for that name would have to have to be shot.(i’m not chinese but I remember a kid that said that in my vicinity quite vividly.) ok yeah so uh rant over.
P.S. if a presidential candidate ever was of the Islamic faith I have no qualms about it. And Obama isn’t even though his name is Obama you fools.
So I really don’t want normal television so I could of missed this. I’m a nerd I guess but I thought it was funny. I don’t get the point really. Well I think they are just setting this up as a series of commercials and setting it up. I thought his retirement video was hilarious too. My gf is probably ashamed of my nerdieness.
Saw this link on japanator. Saw this amv before and thought it was great. If you don’t know anything about One Piece though I doubt you’ll appreciate it as much. One Piece is definitely in my top 10 anime. You can d/l episodes at kaizoku-fansubs.

Wall-E - Fantastic!
Indy 4 - Jumped the shark but nice to see Harrison Ford as Indy again. Weakest of the 4 movies.
Yah so hard to believe but I have been busy at work where I can’t write anything good on this site. Bingerama & tastethehappy have been in the same boat. Oh well I’ll post something sooner or later!
Was able to gather the usual crew and watch Iron Man last night. Pain in the butt to get everyone together and accommodate for everyone. Well next time it is someone else’s turn to organize! Make it too early, too late, too far people whine.
One word for Iron Man. AWESOME. The last movie I saw in the theater was Rambo several months ago. The summer movie extravaganza has finally started and if Iron Man is any indication of this summer’s quality of films then my bank account will shrink a tad. hehe.
Robert Downey Jr. was the perfect choice for the role of Tony Stark in my opinion and I am even more impatient in waiting for his next Film “Tropic Thunder” to be released. He was always an actor I admired growing up, and I was quite saddened when he hit rock bottom with his drug addiction. I’m glad it looks like he kicked that addiction in the balls and sent those balls to Neptune because if you see how ripped he is in Iron Man you’ll think it was CG or something. gahahaha.
I’ll have to say that I think this was probably the best Marvel adaptation yet over X-Men and Spiderman even. Maybe when Wolverine is released that may make me change my opinion. The GF loved this movie so you know this has to be a legit movie.
