Too many games, too little time.

October 31st, 2007 | Category: Gaming

Too many games coming out soon I want to play but not enough time. ? Adult life and the fact that there are 5 systems in the current generation and the dozens of legit games released a year make it impossible to enjoy them all. I miss being a kid with limited income and the fact there really was only NES back then and like 1 or 2 legit games every few months. I had no choice but to play those games to death. Now with so many choices it makes it harder to stay focused on one game. Now that WOW is basically off the table for me, I might beat a game before the year is over. (I can’t remember the last game I beat.) Yes I know not very Otaku of me in this regard but my heart is still in it!

Upcoming games I want to play
Assassin’s Creed (Xbox360)Bought it b4 having an xbox. hehe.
Call of Duty 4 (PC) Purchased for Xbox 360
Crysis (PC)
Far Cry 2 (PC)
Hellgate London (PC) (Heard it was buggy)
Mass Effect (Xbox360)
Naruto (Xbox360) Purchased

Half my list is Xbox360 games, and I don’t even own one yet. I need to get a HDTV first. Bleh.

Crocodile Shoes

October 29th, 2007 | Category: Random

an old joke I recently saw printed in front of the urinal at the local bar. Found it again the internet.

an Old one but still good..

A blonde was on vacation and driving through Darwin. She desperately
wanted to take home a pair of genuine crocodile shoes but was very
reluctant to pay the high prices the local vendors were asking.

After becoming very frustrated with the “no haggle on prices” attitude
of one of the shopkeepers, the blonde shouted,”Well then, maybe I’ll
just go out and catch my own crocodile, so I can get a pair of shoes
for free”

The shopkeeper said with a sly, knowing smile, “Little lady, just go
and give it a try!”

The blonde headed out toward the river, determined to catch a crocodile!

Later in the day, as the shopkeeper is driving home, he pulls over to
the side of the bank where he spots the same young woman standing
waist deep in the murky water, shotgun in hand. Just then, he spots a
huge 3 metre croc swimming rapidly toward her. With lightning speed,
she takes aim, kills the creature and hauls it onto the slimy banks of
the river. Lying nearby were 7 more of the dead creatures, all lying
on their backs.

The shopkeeper stood on the bank, watching in silent amazement. The
blonde struggled and flipped the Croc onto its back. Rolling her eyes
heavenward and screaming in great frustration, she shouts out,
“Bugger,

“THIS ONE’S BAREFOOT, TOO!’

Why not invest into a 401K ?

October 27th, 2007 | Category: Random

I am simply amazed sometimes about people not putting money into a 401K. My friend who is 36 didn’t start putting money into a 401K for years, until I admonished him on his foolishness. When a company even matches you up to a certain percent of what you put in, well then you are simply a fool. Who gives up free money!?! Also the money is pre-taxed when you invest. Meaning if you deduct like 50 dollars every paycheck into your 401K you’ll only see a loss of maybe 40 dollars in your paycheck. More on this soon.
